china will launch an English-taught International Master’s Program in Landscape Architecture (MLA). The school is the oldest and largest educational institution for Landscape Architecture in China, boasting the best teaching, research, and student performance in the country. The school currently combines five disciplines–Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Planning and Design, Landscape Plants and Ornamental Horticulture, and Tourism Management, among which the Landscape Architecture program offers degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels as well as postdoc positions. This program was ranked No. 1 in the 2012 China Discipline Evaluation by the Ministry of Education.
The international MLA program is specifically designed for young people in countries along “the Belt and Road.”
This three-year program is to enroll 20 students, each of whom is qualified to receive a scholarship package from the Beijing Government’s “Belt and Road” Scholarship for International Students, which includes a tuition waiver ($4313/year) and free accommodation. The Chinese Government’s Scholarship for International Students is also
