Royal Geographical Society with IBG announced that 2018 Annual International Conference will take place at Cardiff University, 28-31 August 2018. They announced Call for Papers: for a session on the theme “Geographical Landscapes/changing landscapes of geography”.

The annual conference provides the perfect opportunity to find out more about the latest geographical research from across the discipline, while networking with over 1,800 delegates from around the world. This year, we are looking forward to welcoming delegates to Cardiff, capital city of Wales.

The call for sessions and papers for the 2018 conference is now open. More information about the conference, including details of registration and the provisional programme, will be published in early 2018. The Chair”s theme for 2018 Annual Conference is Geographical landsapes/changing landscapes of geography.

Call for Papers: for a session organised at the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference to be held in Cardiff from 28 to 31 August 2018 on the theme “Geographical landscapes / changing landscapes of geography” (link). The present call is entitled:  “Landscape and training: political and educational issues, tools and practices». This session aims to focus on political dimensions of the landscape and to open the discussion on the impacts of political approaches on education and training. This session is organised in parallel with the session “Landscape and education: research and practices”, proposed by B. Castiglioni and Margherita Cisani (call attached too).
